I have created these simple tutorials to help my students.
They are easy to read. Please take your time to finish these lessons and work at your own pace. The entire two Ear Training Tutorials should take a beginner more than even 20 days to finish.
Make sure that you are familiar with the piano. If you aren't, however, the first lesson is on memorizing the piano keys. Please take time to do so before moving on, as you will understand more and be able to work naturally with this information.
Ear Training Tutorial: Level 1
Ear Training Tutorial: Level 2
The benefit of finishing these tutorials will show if you take your time and finish each lesson step by step. You should be able to identify melodic dictation much easier, identify chords easier, and you will have a good basis to decide what you want to try next (learn the rest of the intervals, learn to play piano, etc...)

Hi James,
I browsed through your lessons and they look very good.
I encourage everyone who is starting ear training to try them out as some of the goals set up in them can be a very motivating factor.

Hi James, I took a peak at your tutorial. It really is great (although only for beginners). But you also need to create a tutorial file (.tut for EarMaster) and make it accessible for download through your website, it will be much easier for less experienced students to load exercises.
