EarMaster 6?

I have been trying EarMaster 5 on evaluation. I have only a few days to go before I must decide whether to buy it.

Although I'm a "home" user I am probably going to get the "School" version, as I like the extra customisation of tutors/lessons that this offers. (for both my own studies and for my son's).

My question is, "If EM6 is released in the near future (e.g. within 6 months), will I get a free upgrade?"

EarMaster 6 won't be released within 6 months. We will release the Mac version first, as it is our priority at the moment.
Registered owners of previous versions of EarMaster can buy the newest version at half price (upgrades), and it will be the case with EarMaster 6 too.

I'm bumping this thread since I intend to purchase EM5, but not if EM6 is only a couple of months away.

Is there any scheduled date when a new version will be released?

A quick update to inform you that version 6 has been heavily delayed, and that it is not going to be ready before a long time.
