It [EarMaster] is awesome. I teach piano and do not have time to do ear training every week. My students are working an extra 15 minutes before each lesson on this program and on [xxxxx] for younger students. I retired from 25 years of teaching general music and band at all levels and presently teach piano (25students). One of my students is a senior and wants to take the college board AP to pass out from all college theory classes. She is finding this program very beneficial since ear training is so difficult for those of us who do not have perfect pitch.

We have recently acquired Earmaster School 5 for use in the lower-level ear training classes. This software enables our ear training classes to do their lab homework outside the classroom, so that our class time is available for exploring the different aspects of sight singing through drill and practice. The software is an excellent program for beginners as well as advanced theory students, and covers all aspects of music theory and ear training.
