midi input

Post by brownbag39 » Apr 26, 2018 7:34 am

I am using my keyboard with a midi connection to input the answers for the Melodic Dictation exercise.
The way it seems right now is that until I get the melody right, I am having to constantly erase the wrong notes that I play while trying to figure out the right melody.
Is there a way not to enter your answer until you figure it?
Hopefully that makes sense.

It's not currently possible, but what you can do is try to find the right notes by playing on your MIDI keyboard, and then when you are ready, use the "Clear All" button in the note toolbar to erase all notes from the staff.
