Will this USB MIdi (in/out) connection be ok to connect my keyboard to Earmaster? (see link below)

I intend to connect the USB side into one of my usb ports (on my laptop).. would this work? or does it have to go into my sound card, I have no idea of what to do as I have no technical background.
If the answer is yes, do I have to do any configurations? etc..

Yes it should work. If windows on your laptop recognizes your keyboard as a midi instrument using this cable it should show up in earmaster as an option.
