assign MIDI to shortcut keys

Post by Alessio » Jun 27, 2014 3:06 am

Hi,

I'm evaluating EarMaster and I'm using it with my midi drum to improve my rhythm sight.
There's a way to assign midi to shortcut? E.g.

I can use lower tom to "New Question" (F5 key)
I can use bass drum to "Begin" (F6 key)

...and so on...

Also I've noticed that midi is a bit too sensible...one hit sometimes is detected as two hit...

Thank you,

Alessio

Hi

it is possible yes.. If you go to tools->properties->remote control. Then you can set the shortcuts here.

In regards to the sensitivity, i think it is best if you set this on your midi drumsset. I believe you can set the sensibility on most midi-kits.

Best regards

This is strange. I already record midi drum throught a DAW without extra notes.

Okay. You can try to open preferences -> Midi devices. And select the "Single tone input". I am not able to test this today, since i don't have a midi set available right now. However it might be worth the try.
