How to adjust input timing?

Post by gkscoot@gmail.com » Oct 20, 2020 12:20 pm

Hi,

Just installed a new Earmaster on my new Windows 10 PC with M-Audio Keystation61 MK3 midi controller.

Just trying to do the first couple introductory exercises seems nearly impossible. Whether I use my midi KB or the built in KB in the UI, the timing is never happy and I usually fail to get correct answers as a result.

How can we deal with these timing issues?

Many thanks,

Gary

It seems like maybe I was just not holding down the keys long enough to "count." That might be all it was. Takes a little getting used to I guess.

Yes, if you were taking pitch-based exercises, you need to hold the notes until your answer has been evaluated. If you are still experiencing problems, please make a video to show exactly what the problem is, because often it can simply be a misunderstanding as to hw the exercise is supposed to be used. :)
