Chord Progressions

I am seriously considering purchasing EarMaster as my trial is winding down but was curious how to utilize the "chord progression" option. I am not sure what the question is and how to answer. I am in the very first module.

1) I first hear 2 individual note.
2) ...which is followed by 2 chords
3) Am I answering what the two chords are? If so, what do the first 2 notes mean?
4) If for example the question is: Major V - minor I How do I answer?
