Poor mic sensitivity

Post by Azkold » Dec 29, 2020 12:39 pm

Using iPhone 8 Plus. In sight-singing exercises EarMaster cant hear me singing some (only some) notes. At first sensitivity was great but later with app update it became worse. Using corded EarPods. I have to hold mic near my mouth and still sometimes need to shout (some notes) for EM to hear me.

Hi! Have you maybe enabled the piano or the guitar by accident? This can be changed back to mic input via the Exercise Options (top right menu) under "Lower interface".

No, I see microphone picture in the bottom part of the screen (with animation). And its just some notes are missing. Overall microphone input is working.

Are you experiencing the same problem without Earpods (i.e. with the iPhone's regular built-n mic)?
