I hope you'll like it! We improved the detection algorithm and streamlined the setup process :)

Re: Microphone option missing in rhythm clapback

Hi, Yes, it's actually in BETA at the moment. You cna download the BETA if you want to use it right away, or you can wait a few days until it is available in the official version. The BETA is available on the same page where you downloaded your official version. If you can't find the link, please ge...

Re: Latence

Bonjour,

Le réglage de compensation de la latence agit sur l'entrée des notes, pas sur le son. Donc il faudrait que vous activiez l'option de saisie silencieuse dans les options de l'exercices (menu en forme de liste en haut à droite de l'écran).

Re: keyboard short cut for selecting 'A' or 'B'

Yes it worked like that in v4/5/6. I will send your request forward to the dev team. It would be useful to have this feature in v7.

Re: Dutch translation EM7

Hi Walfried,

It is unfortunately on stand-by right now, as the Dutch translators we have had are not so active anymore. If you know anyone who would be interested in giving us a hand with that, please let us know :)

Re: keyboard short cut for selecting 'A' or 'B'

In EarMaster 7 on both Windows and Mac, you can use TAB and the left/right arrows to navigate between the control buttons and the A/B options. Press the space bar to activate the button in focus.

Re: No sound in playing questions

EarMaster plays back sounds through the sound device that is selected by default in Windows. Make sure to plug the devices you want to use before starting EarMaster, and if things don't work properly, then check Windows's sound properties that the correct devices are being used.

Re: [Feature Request] Hotkey and/or On-screen Button to Show Pitch Curve

I think perhaps a possible solution could be to have an option to show the pitch curve only after the answer has been evaluated. Or perhaps to have a keyboard shortcut show/hide the pitch curve. I'll forward this to the dev team. :)

Re: [Feature Request] Make Instrument Selection Control a Drop-Down Menu

Having timbres change with each question would be a nice new exercise indeed. Right now. EarMaster behaves like a traditional ear training session would: with one instrument playing the intervals. The instrument selection is there to make it easier to change it rather than going to the preferences.

Re: 6.9 singing melodic fragment by sight -Help

Hi,

Maybe you could try to focus on singing intervals as solfege syllables to start with. You can use the Interval Singing Workshop for that.

Re: Rythm Calculator

A score editor is software that enables you to write music and play it back. You can check out Musescore to begin with. It's free and very complete. Other renowned commercial score editors you can look into are Finale, Sibelius, Notion, Pizzicato, Dorico, and a lot more. Recording software (DAW) als...

Re: Rythm Calculator

It's a good idea, but I think you can easily achieve that with a score editor.

Re: Microphone on Multi-Channel Audio Interface

Hello, Currently, it is only possible to plug your microphone to the first channel of your interface. It would be really great to be able to select other channels, so I have sent your request forward to the development team. There might be a workaround possible using the utility Jack or some other p...

Re: [Feature Request] Custom Vocal Range, Interval Singing Pitch Curve et al.

In all training modes except "Customized Exercise", the tempo is set by the exercise itself. You are allowed to modify the tempo in most exercises, but it will be set to the lesson's default when you take a retake it. The reason for that, is that the tempo is considered a part of the pedagogical str...
