I am the only user on my Mac, so I guess I have administrative rights. I dont have any problems installing other software, I just have to type in my password and that´s it. But the dialog box requesting the password cantappear because the program will not even open ... because of this unknow error ...

I downloaded the trial version of EarMaster Pro 5 for Mac and after the download was completed, I dragged the folder into "Applications". I tried to launch the program and the only message I get is:

Error creating registry data

I click OK (because it is the only option)

and the next message is ...
