i.e. could the controller be sending MIDI on two ports? If this is the case, could EarMaster be configured to only pay attention to one port?

I also tried a free app in the App Store called MidiTrail that will visualize midi in data, and it didn't show any doubling.

Hi, I decided to go ahead and buy a license to EarMaster because it is still worth it even with this glitch, but look forward to this issue being fixed in the future.

Your reply reminded me that I have an M-AUDIO Keystation 49e usb keyboard controller, so I got it out to see if using it would avoid the same issue. Unfortunately, when I tried it the notes were all still doubled. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I am on ...

Hi, I decided to try downloading the Windows version (build 620PW) to see if it had the same issue, but it works fine under Windows without any of the doubled-input issues I was seeing when using my Mac laptop.

I'm evaluating the free trial version of EarMaster 6 that I downloaded a couple of days ago and am so close to buying it, but just ran into this same issue where anything I play shows up doubled.
