i.e. could the controller be sending MIDI on two ports? If this is the case, could EarMaster be configured to only pay attention to one port?

I also tried a free app in the App Store called MidiTrail that will visualize midi in data, and it didn't show any doubling.

same setup except with Windows 7 does not have issue
Hi, I decided to try downloading the Windows version (build 620PW) to see if it had the same issue, but it works fine under Windows without any of the doubled-input issues I was seeing when using my Mac laptop.
