This is strange. I already record midi drum throught a DAW without extra notes.In regards to the sensitivity, i think it is best if you set this on your midi drumsset. I believe you can set the sensibility on most midi-kits.

assign MIDI to shortcut keys
Hi,
I'm evaluating EarMaster and I'm using it with my midi drum to improve my rhythm sight.
There's a way to assign midi to shortcut? E.g.
I can use lower tom to "New Question" (F5 key)
I can use bass drum to "Begin" (F6 key)
...and so on...
Also I've noticed that midi is a bit too sensible ...
