I have a couple of ideas for this.

1)You could limit the number of times that you could play back the question. If 1 time seems unreasonable, then set it to 2 (or more) times.
2)You could set a time limit for answering each question.

I would experiment with a combination of these 2 things.

"Sailing, Sailing" works for both ascending and descending perfect 4ths.

I know I can turn local control off on my keyboard. However, the notes going through the computer are triggering the keyboard at a fixed velocity.

I have a suggestion that pertains to dotted notes/rests.

The user clicks the dot so that it will be added to the selected note/rest. What typically happens afterward is the user selects a new note value, enters the note and then needs to erase it because the dot is still on. What is the probability ...

Another good example can be heard at the very beginning of "Woman" by John Lennon.

First chord is a suspended 4, followed by major, suspended 2 and then major.

Is there a way to disable MIDI thru?

I would like to be able to use a keyboard for the earmaster exercises without retriggering the notes via the computer.

I use earmaster 6 and as well as the earmaster 7 beta version.

There are some guitar (descending) strums during the verse of "Get Together" by the Youngbloods that feature a suspended 2 chord.

I do copy lessons and put them into new modules. I am also trying to find a way to move/copy modules into other courses.

Perhaps I should consider the upgrade to EarMaster 7?

I am using 6 on windows.

I use EarMaster extensively for my private teaching. I would like as many of my students to have use of the software at home.
Would EarMaster Cloud be recommended even if I don't administer the assignments online?
