Platform: Windows
Version: 7.9.93
I have configured a midi keyboard that seem to be fully recognized by Earmaster. (In the "MIDI devices" in "Preferences" it displays correctly when I press a note in in the "MIDI In Activity").
Despite this, my keyboard seems to be 100% unusable in the whole application. As example, by going in "General Workshop > Melodic Dictation", that exercise displays by default a virtual keyboard usable with a mouse, but any key press with my real keyboard have no effect.
I tested with many other exercice types with virtual keyboard: same result. Just to see, I also tried to configure some "MIDI Remote Control" for "New Question", and no, it doesn't work either, despite having confirmation it works in the settings.
According to the youtube video provided by EarMaster demonstrating usage of keyboard controllers that's not the correct behavior. (It should... well... work ?)

Re: Midi keyboard unusable despite being recognized in preferences
For your information I tested with new version 7.9.94 and the issues I encounter are still exactly the same.
Re: Midi keyboard unusable despite being recognized in preferences
OK my bad, in that update a MIDI IN option has appeared in the exercice options and now it works has expected.
