EarMaster School: Windows Server + OS X client

Post by marcusg » Jan 26, 2011 7:01 am

I have a server-installation of EarMaster School 5. Works fine on windows clients, but when I try it with OS X client I get the following error:

"Directory not found or incomplete pathname"

Shared directory mounted on "/Volumes/EarMaster School 5/Shared". I can login, but I cannot access any datafiles. Would be helpful if the program would specify which directory it's unable to find...

Anybody? It's quite frustrating not to be able to use the application on macs!

Hi,
EarMaster School was made so that it would work on mixed networks. I have notified one of the developers of your problem, and he will be answering your question as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Quentin

It could be a problem with privileges on the shared drive. Please make sure that the mac user has Read and Write access to all files on the shared drive.

If this does not help, please contact support directly (support@earmaster.com) and write more details about the build number of the Mac installation and what happens after the error message.

Best regards,
Hans Jakobsen
