suggestions for learning vocal harmony with earmaster

does anyone have any suggestions on how i can tailor this program to teach me vocal harmony? and would i need to set it up as solfege to do this? the hardest thing for me is figuring out harmonies for background vocals and i'm hoping that this program can make it much easier to learn. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks...
