Hi

I don't know if this intentional, but I think is a mistake. When the double clef option is checked, if EarMaster has to show some notes above middle C and some below, it uses only one staff and places the notes out of the staff on ledger lines. I think that when the two clefs are present, EarMaster should make use of both staves, or at least let the user decide if he wants it this way.

When EarMaster generates the question it also decides what clef to transcribe the tones on. It looks at the pitch of the tones in the question and chooses the most appropriate clef to transcribe the tones in.

I agree that for example chords in open voicing should be split up to use both the G and F clef. It is on our wish-list for a future patch.
