single note recognition

Is there a way to train for single note identification in EarMaster 5 - to help train for perfect pitch?

Hi Bob,
Yes, you can do that with the Melodic Dictation exercise. Actually, the first lesson is single pitch recognition relative to a cadence (i.e. relative pitch).

For perfect pitch, you can use the melodic dictation in customized mode and disable the "Play tonic of the key" option. (see the FAQ for more details: http://www.earmaster.com/support/faq.htm)
