Course editor quits program

Is there a way to exit the course editor without having it shut down the whole program? Closing the window via the little red x or via the file menu "Close" command causes the program to quit.

Hello,

On my computer (Windows 7) losing the Course editor simply closes that window, not the whole program. Could you please make sure that you are not clicking on the closing icon of the main window instead of that of the course editor?

Doesn't seem to happen all the time. It hasn't the last several times I've done it; maybe I just did something wrong. I'll repost if I notice it again.

This is happening every time now. I've tried closing the course editor window using the red 'x' button and also using the close command through the File menu. Using command-W (standard Mac shortcut for closing windows) doesn't do anything.

I've tried this on a PC as well; it seems to be strictly a Mac problem. Another colleague of mine has the same issue. Exiting the Course Editor always crashes the program. Doesn't effect a save, which is good.
