Hi,

The volume icon disappearing from OSX's top bar is completely normal. It's just a OSX feature that gives place to application menus by hiding system icons. In some languages such as French or German that have a tendency to use longer words than English, volume or battery charge icons will disappear to allow for the app menus to be displayed. Simply click outside of EarMaster's window to see the icons again.

As for the debug window, it doesn't play any role so you can simply close it. It is monitoring whether there are unexpected errors. It is going away again with the next update.

Cheers,
Quentin

You can now use the "Check for Updates" function from the HELP menu to download a patch that will remove the debugging window. Cheers,
