Rhythmic sight-reading Issues

No matter what I do, the metronome will not give me a lead-in as part of the exercise.

In addition, every time I click my space bar, even staccato, two markers appear, so for every note it looks like I've given two answers.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked if there is an update available. It could sound like an old bug (the double-trigged notes). To check for updates, go to the HELP menu and click on "Check for updates".
