Adjusting voice range for interval singing exercises

Post by Guest » May 20, 2006 9:34 am

Hello,

Is there any way to adjust voice range for the interval singing exercises? I am a bass (especially since I haven't been working on my vocal much lately) and the exercises are quite high for me. Is there a way to drop the examples into a lower octave?

While I am happy with my EarMasterPro, I should inform you that another program has a function that allows the user to adjust the voice range according to commonly used categories (e.g. tenor, bass, alto, etc.). If you intend to compete with other ear training programs, perhaps you would consider creating an update that will modify the options for singing intervals (if there is not some such option hidden within EarMaster).

Thank you,

Jason

In the "Keys and Root movement" section of the exercise setup window, choose "Advanced" and click Edit. Then you can set the range exactly as you want it.
