Reinstall windows, Lost settings

Post by TheGmus » May 23, 2007 12:16 pm

Hi,

I recently had to reinstall my windows. So I also had to reinstall Earmaster too.

Prior to the reinstall I saved my old profile. And I copied back my old \Documents and Settings\user\Application data\earmaster ' directory. I hoped this would bring back my old statistics and settings, but it didn't.

Is there anyway I can get my old scores back?

Cheers,
Eddy

Hi,
Your user records are saved at this location (and should be copied back there):
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\EarMaster

The location: Settings\user\Application data\earmaster only contains exercise parameters I'm afraid...

Thank you for the reply! I was looking through the forums, and it's obvious you put in a lot of work keeping up with all the threads. So thank you for taking the time to respond :guitar:

You're welcome. We do know - as customers of other products - how frustrating it can be to have your questions remain unanswered, so we don't want to let that happen to EarMaster users :keyb:
