Turn off chord lead-in?

In the interval identification exercises, before each interval is played, there is an annoyingly majestic chord progression. How do I turn that off?

That annoyingly majestic chord progression is a cadence

. It is played in Customized Interval exercises if the option "Play tonic of Key" is selected (in the customized exercise setup window, before starting the actual exercise).

To deactivate the cadences, simply unselect that option.

From lesson 23 in the standard tutor, EarMaster plays a cadence before the question. Here is the text from the lesson introduction to lesson 23, which explains why:

"Before each question, EarMaster will play a tonal cadence to establish the key in your mind.
Try to hear the tones of the interval in the context of the key. For example the tones D-F is not just a minor third but the minor third between the third (mi) and the fifth (so) of the key."

but could be interesting also be able to turn off (imho).
