Melodic Dictation suggestion

Post by BillM » May 30, 2018 6:57 am

I have a suggestion that pertains to dotted notes/rests.

The user clicks the dot so that it will be added to the selected note/rest. What typically happens afterward is the user selects a new note value, enters the note and then needs to erase it because the dot is still on. What is the probability that the new note value also needs to be a dotted one?

I don't think there is a problem selecting the dot when we need it; it is forgetting to deselect it when we don't need it.

My suggestion is that clicking a note/rest value deselects the dot.

Hi,

That's a very good suggestion. I'll share it with my colleagues right away.
