Hi All,
is there a way to configure Ear Master 7 in order to have it playing the top note when performing the triads recognition?
e.g. C diminished triad - second inversion is Gb C Eb. I would need to have EM7 to play, or at least show, the top note (Eb in this case) when performing the chord recognition.
A the moment it seems that it can only play the root note (C) when instructed to do so.
Is that possible?
The reason for asking is that my next Ear Training exam will have such exercise (inversion triads recognition after playing the top note).
Thanks in advance,
Gianluca.

Hi Gianluca,
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible, but since this is part of your exam requirements, we would like to look deeper into this. Could you please describe the exam task in an email sent to feedback@earmaster.com. Then it will be received directly by Hans who leads the development of EarMaster.

Re: Triads: root positions and inversion - top note
Hi,
I have sent the e-mail back in April and no reply yet.
Are there any chance it will be taken into consideration?
The request applies to quadriads as well.
Regards,
Gianluca.

Hi Gianluca,
The emails to that address go directly to our development team, and I can guarantee you that all suggestions are taken into consideration. They are most of the time discussed internally, which is why you won't always receive an answer from that email.
