I've been using the assignment manager to create a customized exercises, is there a way to limit the range?
I want my students to work with DO RE MI in a key.

Yes you can do that. For the Option Scale, choose "custom scale" and activate degrees "1, 2 and 3". Then for the Keys option, choose the one(s) you need. EarMaster will then always play melodies based on Do, Re and Mi (or 1, 2, 3) in the keys you have selected.
