By accessing “EarMaster Community” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “EarMaster Community”, “https://www.earmaster.com/phpBB3”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “EarMaster Community”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “EarMaster Community” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “GNU General Public License v2” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions; phpBB Limited is not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “EarMaster Community” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “EarMaster Community” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “EarMaster Community” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

EarMaster ApS cares about the privacy of individuals who visit our website at www.earmaster.com, use our EarMaster App and software, or purchase products in our online store. This Privacy Policy, in compliance with the EU’s GDPR, explains how EarMaster handles the information we obtain from and about our customers, visitors to our Sites, and users of our software. It also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your personal information, and how you can contact us if you have questions or concerns. We process personal information data in such a way that the highest possible privacy of your personal data is met. Your personal information is kept on our servers and hardware backups in accordance with our security procedures which follow the European Union's legislation for the handling of personal data (GDPR). Your personal data is kept in our system until you have sent us an explicit request to delete them.

5. Our Commitment to Security

Using authentication and authorization procedures, we ensure as much as possible that unauthorized individuals have no access to your personal data or use services that are exclusive to you.

To opt-out of receiving our newsletters or marketing emails, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails communications you receive or contact us at the above email address.

Please note that we have the right to reject deletion requests that are unduly burdensome or repetitive or that cannot be honored because of legal obligations or ongoing disputes, or where retention is necessary to enforce our agreements or protect our or another party’s rights, property, safety, or security.

We will post any adjustments to this Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised versions will be effective when they are posted. Upon updating our privacy policy, we will also change its version number in order to keep track of which terms each user has been agreeing to.
