delay on the rythm section

hello...

my huge problem is, that the tutor tells me to clap the ryhtm, for an instance, use spacebar or ctrl key, but when you push the button, abot a quarter-note later, it notices it, so their seem to be some kind of delay from you hit the button to the program notice your tap....that sucks....what can I do to avoid the delay????

If you are using some kind of software synthesizer as MIDI device, that's probably the cause of your problem.

You should try another MIDI device in the EarMaster settings, and if it sounds like crap, you should buy a better sound card

EarMaster can also compensate for delays in the MIDI sound. Have a look at our FAQ:
